Know the Mission
There are approximately 7,500 unreached people groups in the world today. Of those, 2,085 are considered unengaged. That means there are virtually no followers of Jesus, no church planting movements and no people going to share the Gospel among them. They have no way to hear unless someone goes.
A great first step for becoming more involved in missions is by learning from others. Here are a few ways you can do just that.
1. Explore Missions Resources
Visit joshuaproject.net to learn about these unreached and unengaged people groups.
Do some research online, listen to a podcast, read a biography of a missionary or other missions book.
2. Attend Missions Connect – Every first Thursday at 7pm
Connect with others at Calvary passionate about missions. Hear firsthand from our partners what God is doing around the world. Get to know them personally as they share their stories and answer your questions. Join us in the chapel or online.
3. Join Calvary Missions Team
Looking to get even more involved? Join the team that helps put our annual missions convention together!
